A home for sale in Central California is a wine lover's dream come true.
The “Barrel House,” a home made out of a pair of two-story tall reclaimed redwood wine barrels in Big Sur, is on the market. And it can be yours for only $3.265 million.
This architect-designed home, according to the online listing, is a cultural timepiece among Big Sur’s luxury real estate properties.
Hillary Lipman, Big Sur Coast Properties listing agent, told USA TODAY Monday that the current owner is “ready to retire and move closer to her daughter in San Luis Obispo.” Lipman shared with SF Gate that the current owner is excited to "pass along the incredible property."
The “Barrel House” was in the owner’s family for 40 years, presenting a unique opportunity to for potential buyers to purchase a home designed by legendary Big Sur architect Mickey Muennig.
